Camping

  • The Goose Pond Colony Resort campground is located on the Tennessee River and offers 147 spacious sites with full sewer hookup. Other campground amenities include three bathhouses, playground, and pavilion.
  • Call Goose Pond Colony Resort at 256-912-0075 to arrange camping onsite – both RV and primitive sites are available!

Since 80% of the power used at GET OFF THE GRID FEST is generated by a custom solar array, tent and car campers must bring their own solar-powered devices to power their campsite. A limited number of RV spots are available. Contact us at hello@getoffthegridfest.com if you have a solar-powered RV, bus, or camper!

Porta-potties, hand washing stations, composting & recycling receptacles, and drinking water are freely available throughout the Festival. Campers can bring coolers, but they need to provide their own water for cooking and dishwashing. Ice is available for purchase.

What is Goose Pond Colony & Resort?

How do I find GET OFF THE GRID FEST?

The Main Entrance for all ticketed patrons is the Goose Pond entrance at 417 Ed Hembree Drive Scottsboro, AL 35769.

August is hot! How will I stay cool?

Hydration is important – seriously. Alcohol dehydrates and staying hydrated is important for having a good time. We’ll have FREE drinkable water throughout the grounds. Check your map for locations. All main activity areas (the Main Stage, Presentation & Workshop Tent, Health & Wellness Tent and the Dance & Flow Pavillion offer shade). Cool off under the trees along the river (water shoes/foot protection are highly recommended).

Is Goose Pond ADA compliant?

Yes! Goose Pond is fully accessible to people using wheelchairs and other mobility assisting devices. Wheelchair accessible portable toilets will be available. Please be aware that this is an outdoor event. Therefore, travel is over natural terrain. If it rains, there will be mud in some places. Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide personal care or push services. Plan ahead and bring attendants if needed.

Can I bring my dog?

Animals and pets are not allowed, however, patrons with disabilities are welcome to utilize fully-trained and ADA-recognized service animals.
